THE FAMILY SUPPORT PROJECT

Improving the Lives of Many

Herne Bay Link are proud to say that there are 30 families on The Family Support Project, helping children and their families in Borodyanka.
We feel that it is the quality of our care that is important as well as our continued support.
However, there are children who come from difficult family backgrounds where direct financial support is not the best option. It is for these children that we have set up a generic Family Support Fund, to ensure that we can still help the children with clothing, schooling and any medication required.
If you can donate as little as £5 a month, or whatever you can, we can continue to care for all the children we meet.
Full family sponsorship starts from £20 per month and is for a family in need who has been affected by Chernobyl in some way.

Help Herman

Family Support for Autism

We have been asked help a family with a young boy, Herman, who has just turned 5 years old.

His mum has been too embarrassed until now to admit the fact that her child needs help. She was not sure of his condition, but after coming to the Centre,  it is obvious that Herman has some sort of autism. They are a very poor family.

The parents saw a recent article in their local paper about our Charity and that we help all children who are in need of help including those who are sick and both physically and mentally disabled.

It took alot of courage to come forward and ask for help and we want to ensure that they receive the help they so desperately need.

If you would like to know more about how you can help Herman and other children like him with as little as £20 a month donation, we would like to hear from you.
